AMOS’ unique Global Sport Business Master’s Program has been designed to suit the needs of the international sports industry and to develop in-depth expertise of the sector, to support both professional aspirations and industry requirements.

This 2-year management program is delivered by experts of the international sports industry and takes the students on a unique journey across three different business environments throughout the world - Europe, Asia, and North America – to discover the digital transformations impacting the future of sports.

Global Sport Business Master in details

During three semesters and through comprehensive coursework, master classes, and study trips, the students will be confronted with the fast-changing trends in the global sports industry, with a special focus on the creation of technology-based sports companies.

To incorporate students’ knowledge in their professional life, they will undertake a 6-month professional experience and develop a concrete digital transformation plan for a sports organization.

Work experience and courses

The first semester of the Global Sport Business Master’s program will focus on the economic, political, and legal characteristics of sports management and introduce the future trends of the sports industry in Europe.

To be fully immersed in the sports products’ environment, students will join a 5-day study trip to Munich – Germany – to attend ISPO, the world’s largest multi-segment trade fair for sports business.

The second semester of the Global Sport Business Master’s program focuses on the opportunities for collaboration in Asia and the challenges that such a gigantic market represents to European and American sports organizations. Students will also understand the economic implications when developing successful business strategies in Asia.

During this semester students will initiate the GSIC classes and will learn the fundamentals of the digital transformation area. They will also discover the functioning of sports digital marketing and fan engagement. By the end of the semester, students will be able to propose a real individualized customer experience.

Industry placement & career services

The third semester of the Global Sport Business Master’s program focuses on sports marketing franchises, innovation, and fan experience of the sports industry with an emphasis focus on North America to prepare students to understand this sporting leadership model.

Our courses will help students gain significant knowledge in sales strategies, event safety & public relations, as well as innovative sports trends. They will also learn about the career environments both in the USA and in the UK.

The last semester of this program involves a mandatory 6-month work placement in an international sport industry environment that students must undertake to obtain their degree. AMOS aims to provide opportunities for all students to develop employability skills to achieve their career goals, therefore they are accompanied during classes and professional workshops.

Students will also have to carry out a GSIC final project, by writing a dissertation and supporting their work orally. The project will be based in a real company of the sports industry.

  • Assessment methods

    Our students are assessed throughout the academic year by continuous assessment (homework, case studies, oral exams, etc.) and twice a year by mid-term exams. A research dissertation will be produced and presented in English to a jury at the end of the 5th year. Certification is obtained by capitalising on all the skill blocks and defending the final dissertation in English.

  • Methods used and objectives

    Methods used :

    • Our speakers are recognised experts who guide and support our students throughout their training. Their learning methods are based on the autonomy of students, who are regularly involved in their own training. The sessions alternate theoretical contributions with practical applications. Work and production in sub-groups are encouraged, as is international work experience.

    International students living abroad and holding an undergraduate degree/bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Training rates

    As the course is still in its early stages, we are not yet in a position to publish indicators. However, we undertake to publish the following rates as soon as they become available: success rate, drop-out rate, number of students trained. It is not possible to publish results indicators concerning continuation rates or professional integration rates.

  • Further study

    The aim of validating the course and obtaining professional certification is exclusively to enable our students to move quickly into positions of responsibility in the world of sport.

Admission conditions

  • Step 1

    Fill out the online admission form with your personal details.
    Your contact information is required to accompany you throughout the process by the admissions team. To facilitate your orientation, please be sure to provide accurate and truthful information.

    Admission to the 1st year is based on students’ application, academic performance in bachelor, level of English proficiency and motivation to join the school.

    1. Copy of valid passport. We recommend that your passport has at least six months of validity remaining whenever you travel abroad.

    2. Curriculum Vitae (in English). It must include your academic summary, work experience, internships, volunteering, and any other useful information to assess you’re your profile.

    3. Cover letter (motivation letter in English). It must be well structure and explain the reasons to choose the program and the school.

    4. Bachelor’s degree.

    5. Copy of original transcripts of the last year of studies.*

    6. 2 letters of reference (academics or professionals) in English – Optional.

    Once these documents are sent, they will be reviewed by our international admission officer who will instruct you on the remaining steps

    *All academic documents (degree and transcripts) must be submitted in English or French. If the original language is different, be sure to attach their official translation.

  • Step 2

    Once we receive and validate all the application documents, we’ll create your student profile, which we will finalize in the next steps:

    Schedule your online admission interview. During this interview, your level of English will be evaluated if you are not a native English speaker. You can choose the date to pass it with an Admissions officer.

    Pass an admission test in English :

    • Quiz on Sports culture.
    • Essay on sports (350 words)
  • Step 3

    Receive the admission decision. After evaluating your student profile and the results of the interview and test, the admissions committee will decide. The admission decision will be notified on the next 5 working days after the test. If you are accepted, you will receive the pre- admission letter by e-mail.

  • Step 4

    Confirm your enrolment and pay the tuition fees on Stripe. Your seat will be pre-reserved for 15 working days while you make the first payment. Payment methods will be informed to you when you are accepted. You can check the General Terms and Conditions. Once the payment is received, your seat will officially be reserved, and you will receive the final admission letter to start your administrative procedures related to visa and housing.

  • Step 5

    Receive orientation from your campus to prepare your arrival in France. Your academic advisor will be able to assist you in academic and administrative procedures. He/she will provide you with support to obtain your student visa and find an accommodation.
