MASTERS PROGRAMME

YEAR 1
Introduction to sport management

The 1st year of the programme marks a break with high school academic approaches and the discovery of an approach focused on professional experience.

STUDENTS ARE THROWN IN THE DEEP END TO GAIN MATURITY AND CONFIRM THEIR COURSE CHOICE. IT IS ALSO IN THESE FIRST EXPERIENCES THAT THE PROFESSIONAL PROJECT CONTENT IS DESIGNED AND THAT PERSONAL AMBITIONS START TO BECOME A REALITY.

The 1st year classes focus on the essentials: law, economics, finance and entrepreneurship, commerce and marketing, communications and media, sports and human sciences, complemented by classes on professional experience and lectures led by professionals from the sector.

MASTERS PROGRAMME

YEAR 2
More international opportunities

The 2nd year of the programme is marked by the semester completed at the AMOS London campus, a unique chance to realise that there are international opportunities everywhere and that the volume of sport jobs available is huge.

THE SEMESTER IN LONDON INCLUDES A PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN AN ANGLOPHONE ENVIRONMENT AND ENGLISH CLASSES.

Back on your original campus the second semester makes it possible to continue learning the essentials in general culture, law, economics, management and marketing. It is during the 2nd semester that you will validate your choice of options: entrepreneurship, events, strategic managing or international opportunities.

MASTERS PROGRAMME

YEAR 3
Validate your course choice

This 3rd year allows you to specialise in a subject of your choice, whether business and entrepreneurship, marketing, events or media and communications.

DURING THE 3RD YEAR OF THE PROGRAMME, AN INCREASING NUMBER OF PROFESSIONALS WORK WITH AMOS TO PASS ON THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE AND TO SHARE THEIR VIEWS ON BOTH SPORT SECTOR ISSUES AND NEEDS.

3rd year classes involve more simulations, meetings with sport professionals, case studies and lectures, etc.

Marketing, management, law, finance and digital sport are the basis of 3rd year classes, which are carried out in connection with real life sport organisation situations and club management problems.

MASTERS PROGRAMME

YEAR 4
Preparing for employability

The 4th year of AMOS courses marks the launch of student professional insertion projects. Two years before leaving school, students specify their project choice, the areas in which they wish to progress and prepare individualised action plans to achieve the objectives set.

THE PROFESSIONAL PROJECT BECOMES THE CENTRAL COMPONENT

Students are coached to target the organisations that they are interested in working with as well as the profession they are aiming for. They are given support, in writing a CV and completing an application that will allow them to gain their desired professional experience.

In terms of classes, the pace accelerates, the one-on-one teaching is concise and students must learn to quickly adapt content to suit what they are working towards. We expect them to behave like professionals or athletes preparing for a deadline with victory in mind.

MASTERS PROGRAMME

YEAR 5
Making the dream a reality

The 5th and final year of the programme marks this important transition. Still students, and not yet professionals, they are yet to achieve their goals within their host organisation in order to reach the academic requirements. This 5th and final year is, indeed, very demanding.

During each week of classes, the content offered by sport experts is linked with an important piece of personal work to complete. At the same time, the 3 weeks per month spent working in companies are seen as a pre-employment period.

SUCCESS THROUGH 2 ASPECTS: PROVING YOUR SPORT SKILLS WITHIN THE COMPANY AND MEETING THE ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS.

The employability of future graduates is facilitated by individual and personalised coaching.

The last year ends with the presentation and defence of a professional research dissertation.
