The Pays d'Aix has an impressive sporting record, including Pascal Gentil, a double Olympic medallist and three-time taekwondo world champion, as well as the Olympic and world titles won by the Karabatic brothers and Jerome Fernandez, all of whom played for PAUC.

Alongside the traditional football, basketball and handball on offer, notably through inter-district tournaments, sport here is played on a grand scale, with skiing and sailing widening the range still further.
